MCP server

Use cubrik from the AI you already use

Connect cubrik to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code. Ask for a backtest, check your portfolio, set up an agent or manage your positions, without leaving the conversation.

Connect an AI appIncluded in every plan, Demo too. Your plan's limits apply as they do in cubrik.

The server address

Add this address to your AI app as a custom connector (some apps call it an MCP server or an integration). The first time it is used, the app opens cubrik's sign-in.

https://mcp.cubrik.ai/mcp

Three steps

  1. 01

    Add the address

In your AI app, add a custom connector and paste https://mcp.cubrik.ai/mcp.

  2. 02

    Sign in with cubrik

The app sends you to cubrik. Sign in as usual: no key to copy, nothing to paste into the chat.

  3. 03

    Choose what it may do

Read your account, manage your agents, trade on your connected brokers: you tick what this app may do, and you can change it by connecting again.

Set it up in your app

Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the address. Works on claude.ai, the desktop app and the phone apps.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT's settings, under Apps, turn on developer mode, then create an app with the address. Available on the ChatGPT plans that allow custom apps.

Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http cubrik https://mcp.cubrik.ai/mcp, then type /mcp to sign in.

Cursor and VS Code

Open Settings → MCP in Cursor, or run “MCP: Add Server” in VS Code, choose HTTP and paste the address. The AI apps page in cubrik has a one-click button for each.

Codex, Gemini CLI and others

Any app that supports remote MCP servers with an OAuth sign-in can connect: add the address as a streamable HTTP server.

Answers you can see

In Claude and ChatGPT, backtests, agents, your portfolio, the Library and Analytics appear as interactive cards in the conversation, with Pause, Start, Copy and Apply buttons that act through the same tools.

You stay in control

  • You choose what each app may do when you sign it in: read, manage agents, trade.
  • No tool moves money into or out of any of your accounts.
  • Claude and ChatGPT ask before using a tool that changes something, unless you tell them not to.
  • Disconnect any app at any time from Settings → AI apps, on the web or on your phone.
  • cubrik records every action an AI app takes, with the app's name.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. The connection is included in every cubrik plan, the free Demo plan too. Reading your account uses no credits; an agent's run or test uses credits as it does in cubrik. Your AI app's own subscription is separate.

Can my AI app place trades?

On the brokers you connected to cubrik, if you allow trading when you sign the app in. Apps like Claude ask you before each such action unless you tell them not to. The version listed in ChatGPT's app directory places no orders.

Is my broker's key shared with the AI app?

No. Your keys stay with cubrik, sealed. The app only gets a cubrik token for what you allowed, and cubrik places the order for it.

Which plans include it?

All of them. The limits of your plan, such as agents, schedules, credits and connected platforms, apply exactly as they do in cubrik.

How do I disconnect?

Settings → AI apps → Connected, then Disconnect. It ends at once: the app has to sign in again to use cubrik.

What does the AI app see?

Only what its tools return, when it calls them. What the app then does with it is governed by that app's own terms and privacy policy.

How we handle what AI apps read and do is in our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
